LALRG Board meeting

On June 5, the Latvian Association of Local and Regional Governments (LALRG) had its monthly Board meeting. LALRG Advisers Lāsma Ūbele, Aino Salmiņš and Ivita Peipiņa gave update on the negotiations between LALRG and line ministries.  Advisers highlighted main issues where the agreement has been reached and also informed about issues where the work continues. 

The current situation with education reform was presented by Ināra Dundure, LALRG Adviser on education and culture.  Kristīne Kinča, LALRG Legal Adviser informed on the plans of the government to provide free official publications.
